It was Christmas Sunday at Patoka Grove today.
We all took part in the Christmas program. Â Some sang, some read and some shared memories.

I have fond memorys of Potoka Grove. When I was little my folks attended homecoming each year. I remember the tables full of good home cooked food. They were outside on the west side of the church.

The Christmas window is beautiful! There’s something melancholy but determined about little towns. I’ve visited friends and family in tiny, dying or struggling-to-hold-on towns in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri and Oklahoma. They all had a certain sad charm.
